I have no idea what size these things should be, but I'm hoping someone
here can help.
I've found what appears to be an M983 HEMTT tractor. It has a Detroit
Diesel V8 (8V92?) with an Allison 5-speed auto trans. It runs GREAT,
but the only wheels with tires on them are flat and up to the hubs in mud.
What I'd like to do is get 8 mounted tires, take them out there, and drive
the truck home.
The question is: where do I get them?
The bolt pattern appears to be 10 on 13.75". Am I wrong? It's hard to
measure the bolt circle with the CTIS in the way. The lug bolts appear to
be 5/8" diam. Is this correct?
The tires do not appear to have any markings on them AT ALL. The tread
pattern is tractor-like, no real road-like tread, so maybe these two are
substitutes. I have to suppose the wheels are 20", not 24"s.
Looking for someone West of the Mississippi with 8 of these things for rent
or sale, but I'm not picky. May trade a Gamma Goat if the set of 8 is
nice.
