(WWII) (1 1/2 - 2 1/2 ton) (Chevy & GMC) Information Wanted

Hello List-

I was wondering what the differences were between the
CCKW and the 1 1/2 ton Chevy. I know the obvious,
CCKW had two rear axles the Chevy only one. But are
most, if not all, other parts interchangeable? I am
specifically inquiring about closed-cab models.
