Diamond T made some of the 5 tons (as did IH) of the G-744 series.

Controlling interest in Reo Motors (of Lansing, MI) and Diamond T Car Co.
were both bought by the same firm (White) in the late 50's (don't have exact
date in front of me). Both continued to be independently for many years. The
Reo built G-742 of this period were nameplated "Lansing Division of White
Motors".
My research indicates that no 2 1/2 ton (G-742 aka M35 type) trucks carry a
Diamond T builders plate, nor were there any built in the Diamond T plant.

Hope this helps,
David
