Dear Listers,

A friend has e-mailed me to say he has been offered a 1952 M38 Jeep (NOT an
M38A1).
In his description, he says that there is no "opening tailgate"..........he
says that the rear body panel is one-piece (like an MB/GPW).

I always assumed that the M38 had a tailgate. Were any M38s built that
didn't have this feature?
