Wouldn't that also depend on what he was restoring it for? In other
words, if he were just going to fix it up for the occassional drive to
church (so to speak), then I'd agree with you about it being an
expensive novelty. But if he's planning on getting active in the
reenactment circles, it might be worth it to him. In fact, if he's
considering using it as a movie rental truck on ocassion, it might be
possible (after a few rentals) that it might pay for the difference in
the guns, at least. Just a thought.
