Pearl Harbour- shurely shome mistakes?

Actually, there may have been MB/GPW's in Pearl Harbor at the time.
There is a photo at the Presidio in San Francisco of Chrissy Field (sic)
showing a fleet of slat grilled MB's, presumably slated for Pearl Harbor.
The Presidio was a major point of embarkation anything bound for
the Pacific theatre.

It also has stamped-grille MBs/GPWs. At the time of December 7th, 1941,
only slat grille MBs existed. Given the distance of Hawaii from the
mainland and MBs only in production for a few weeks, no MBs probably were
even in Hawaii at the time....
