Hey All:

The Intrepid Ron and I worked on our M35s this weekend, and I have found
that there were 2 problems with my truck leading to the overheating and drop
in oil pressure:

1- The replacement thermostat that came with a NOS heater kit was the wrong
one: instead of the big cilindrical brass one it was the small stant type
that you would find in a passanger car, that when it opened it would
restrict the flow of coolant considrably.

2- The oil pressure sending unit was120 PSI unit and the Guage was 60 PSI,
giving inaccurate readings.

3- With new oil and filters it is running with higher pressure and more
stable.

Do these findings make sense to any of you experts out there?

Hank
