Things not to leave home without....
Spare headlamp, and other assorted bulbs.
Slave cable and NATO adapters are a good idea too...the National Guard will
give you a boost if they are handy, as will other MVers.
Brake fluid...especially it you are using silicone.
Spare fan belts, coolant and oil.
There is ONE fuse on the truck, a spare may be handy.
There exists an impact wrench that plugs into the slave outlet, one of these
and a correct lug socket will be handy, otherwise military lug wrench and
pipe.
Also haul chunk of oak 4x4 or 6x6...handy to chock wheels, PLUS if you have
flat on outer dual, you drive the inner dual up on block to save jacking up
truck.
Basic tools...most truck stops sell a basic set for about 30 bucks.
While at the truck stop, pick up an air line that hooks onto the glad hands
that you can use to inflate tires.
Aren't you glad its a big truck!!!

David Doyle
