Need a little help listers, There seems to be MANY opinions on ID'ing F-head
blocks & I need a definitive guideline.
First - The casting #'s at the pan rail area, does anyone have the faintest
idea to the codes ???
for example : 806279-W-12-D-AR
Second - Are ALL military blocks stamped/marked MD (or MB, MC etc) and does
the serial # normally match the vehicle data tag serial # ???
Third - Many have told me that the military F-head block has extra
webbing/gusseting at the bellhousing area and/or extra bolt holes for the
bellhousing/plate ?? True??
