I don't know. What I know is, that the HS 30 caused a big political
scandal in the 60s. The design was not really bad, but the vehicle
was produced by a company, which had never produced a tank before.
They had no experience in building tanks/APCs. So many people asked,
why Hispano-Suiza got the contract. May be they paid money to some
politicans?

The HS 30 has a very low silhouette (spelling?). The good thing:
This makes a small target. The bad thing: The HS 30 should be an
APC and carry around 10 Pamzergrendiers in the rear. The room for
the troops inside was so low, that taller people couldn't sit
there for a longer time. The next disadvantage was, that the
Panzergrenadiers had to embark and disembark through hatches in
the roof and climb up/down over the tracks. There was no tailgate.

The HS 30 was very unreliable and needed a lot of maintenance.

After the HS 30 camte the MARDER, which is a much better APC and
is still in unse until today.

Boah! I don't have a single one! How many spare tracks do you have?
:->
