The front junction blocks and clevis bolts for the running boards arrived
from Midwest Military yesterday, so I pulled out the NOS head light harness
I had and put them in along with the junction blocks. The running boards
should have been quick, but the center support bracket on the driver's side
didn't line up quite right and I had to resort to a come-along to deflect
it the inch or so needed. I also ran out of nuts to go on the bolts and
had to make a closing time run to the hardware store.

The water pump has been damp and threatening to leak for real, so I bought
a replacement early on. But last night I noticed the grease fitting on the
pump and decided to lube it. We'll see if that helps, otherwise the new
water pump will need to go in.

I spent the rest of the evening making a cardboard and butcher paper
template for the passenger side floor. I'm going to go with OD painted
3/4" plywood for the parade, no time (or $) to do tongue and groove oak
right now... that will have to come latter.
