Arthur "Cal" Smith passed away last week Wednesday after fighting
lymphoma for 2+ years. An active member of the MVPA, he also served on
the board of the Michigan Museum of Military Transport. Also a charter
member and membership chairman of the Great Lakes MVPA chapter as well
as belonging to the 1st Michigan Arsenal of Democracy. His last
project, a 1972 M151A2, was just completed this spring. I had the
privilege of "chaufeuring" him in this years Memorial Day parade.
