What Dave has said about paint schemes is correct. I have been a associate
member of the ATAV (army transportation association vietnam) for the last 3
years. I have done lots of research durring that time. One of the things
that I can add is the size of the star on the hood. Some time in, I believe
1970. The hood star was changed in size from the 20" star to the 16".
Though in the field, when trucks were repainted, its what ever works!!!!!!
