According to TB 746-93-1 a single capital "S" is the designation for a
Signal unit (ie. Regiment, Battalion, Separate Company, Detachment or
Similar Unit).

Subject: [MV] Interpretation of bumper #s

List,
One of my trucks was with the DE AR NG 198S. I know that DE AR NG refers to
Delaware Army National Guard. What I don't know is what unit the 198S is.
Can any one shed some light?

Thanks,
Bruce
