Still kicking the 20" tires...
  As I reported before, I know the above units had my vehicle 1939-1954.
  State Of California Seal on both front doors. Department of ???
   "LANG" of Lang Transportation Corporation
logos ALL OVER the place. Lang was a huge
outfit with bigtime California State connections
way back when...
  Well, Lang ran some bus lines, also. The only one I can verify is a
line in Long Beach, CA
WWII era.
  What if Lang used my truck as a mobile bus repair / towing vehicle?
Those big yellow stripes it had might finally be explained...
  "TB766" on brass ID plate could stand for
"transit bus" or "Trailways Bus" #766?
    Not military exactly but might help me find a
period photo?
