Grease in Mutt diffs??

Hi All,

With reference to Bobby-Joe's earlier post about grease in his diffs, well
grease is commonly used by the less honest car dealers as a way of
quietening noisy transmission parts, especially diffs.

As Mutts whine from new, as it were, you probably had some moron put the
grease in to try and quieten her down.

Needless to say, the grease does not lube as well as the proscribed
straight 90 gear oil.
Cheers
Gav.
