The correct Weasel compass is the Pioneer Bendix type 1830, in a special
bracket (SD-902266 bracket, SD-902265 compass) The compass is as used on
the DUKW,and the bracket is similar except it has four holes in the top
face - the DUKW bracket has four holes in the back face. If you get down
under the front deck you should see four bolts in a sqaure pattern
sticking vertically down towards the drivers feet where it mounts.

You can find the compasses on e-bay but they make good money, there was
one for sale at Beltring with an asking price of £120 which is about USD
165.

I did reproduce the mounting brackets in bronze but have no plans to make
any more because the compasses themselves are difficult to get now.
