Neat M38 in Movie

Lists,
Just for you "saw it in a movie buffs" I was watching something called
"Major League, Back to the Minors" the other night about a minor league
baseball team called the BUZZ. Entertaining movie if you have nothing better
to do but the main attraction to me was what the team manager drove around
in.... an M38 painted in "follow-me" yellow and black checkerboard (honest
to God guys)! Looked pretty unmolested and actually plausible since the ball
field adjoined a small airport. Even had the pintle hook, shovel head
bracket in the right spot and other little bits where they ought to be.
Mostly seen in the first half of the show; refreshing to see without being
chopped up by some yahoo and a bad brush job. Didn't see a vehicle credit
offhand but I can't read all that text at the end that fast anyway, maybe
somebody rented it to the movie crew from the list? If so, NICE jeep.
Veteran's update for the truly offtrack, The old guys in Connecticut USA
finished up their WC52, took it to the July 4 Day parade in town and made a
BIG hit. The canvas arrived the night before and was installed just in time,
looked great. Now they've attacked a jeep my Dad donated to them and are
working away just as hard on that. I just have to find a place to post all
the pics I have if you guys want to see what they've been doing, any
suggestions (preferrably free space)?
