More speed/rpm is achievable rather easily in a Deuce. I did a photo shoot
yesterday of an M275 tractor that has had an overdrive unit added. The box
is one of numerous types of 'over-direct-under' units and is positioned
approx 2 feet behind the cab. Thus you would have to split your existing
driveshaft and splice to the new box. This is qed at any area truck shop,
or at least they could point you in the right direction. Would a 1:1.3
increase make you happy? Just a guess since I couldn't test box since
bearing was being replaced. If you have a turbo you definitely want this!
