A comment about nick-names. Didn't the name "deuce and a half" originate
during WWII to describe the 2-1/2 ton trucks of the time? Maybe its time we
found a new nick-name for the post war M35. Whatever happened to "Eager
Beaver" the official nick-name for the M35. I mean that name evokes
thoughts of the mighty beaver working hard building dams, cutting trees,
providing needed supplies for his family. Always coming through the muck
and mire of the streams and swamps to remain victorious in the end. I mean,
I went to Oregon State U. where the beaver is King. Whad'dya say boys, can
you get behind me on this Eager Beaver thing or what?
