Howdy Bill,

Thanks for the reply. The trailer itself is an M116A1, 3/4 ton so could
be pulled by the M37, M715, etc. size of vehicle. The 'footprint' of
the missing genset on the trailer bed is 2.5 feet wide and about 4.5 or
5 feet long.
I agree, current production 'contractor' generators are much more
lightly built and even a 5KW Honda could be carried by two men. I feel
sure that the third data plate describes whatever was on the trailer.
Probably a Military Grade, Diesel fueled 5KW genset of thirty years ago
- big, overbuilt and heavy! I just don't have a reference work on
gensets to know what a "Power Unit 620M" is. I hope someone out there does.
