Today I decided to change the glow plugs on my M998. 7 of eight came out
with no problems. However one plugs tip broke off. I need to remove the
injector in order to get the broken tip out. My question is this. There
must be a special tool used do this. The TM says to use the injector removal
tool. Where can I get one? I tried a
1 1/4 socket and it was to big. The 1 1/8 was to little. I have never seen a
1 3/16 socket. The nut on the injector does not look like a standard nut.
Is there a metric size that will fit it?
Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on removing the glow plug tip?
