I need to identify the following gun sight...

Telescope M70-F
1944
87284
Mfd: Bell and Howell
B177652

It is about 20 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter

Please can anyone tell me (1) what it is, and (2) what its value is.

I am considering buying it, but dont want to get stitched up over it...

I'm guessing from it's description that it is AFV related.
