Folks, We have a (perhaps serious) problem with this new virus on this
Military Vehicle list, and this makes it a MV problem in my book. This
virus came to me from this list, it has been going around in this list, and
THIS MAKES IT A MV LIST TOPIC. I had to reload Windows in my computer and
forgot to reload the antivirus program. Well, I got this virus from the MV
list and am still getting it (it's detected now and stopped) WHICH MAKES IT
A MILITARY VEHICLE (LIST) ISSUE. Many of you out there are computer savvy
and many are not. The ones who are not are most likely to get this virus.
I received many emails from old friends who I had not heard from in some
time that said my email had no text in it and were glad to hear from me! I
had to give them the bad news that they may be infected.

THIS VIRUS IS A MILITARY LIST PROBLEM, IT IS GOING AROUND IN THE LIST
AND IT MUST BE ADDRESSED, PERIOD. It must be talked about to help in its'
destruction! I am particularly annoyed at the flames from the two
individuals that say this is not a MV issue. IT IS A MV issue problem and
if your computer doesn't work, YOU WILL NOT be on this list!! For an
analogy here, what about this: The argument here is saying people who
discuss oil and gasoline properties are not a private ownership MV topic.
They are as well as your computer. They put military TM's on CD's now so
your computer is a MV ownership extension. I have obtained military CD's
that I couldn't get opened and would like to see that discussed here. I
like helping people in any way I can and I realized that my computer sent
out infected emails to some on this list among others. I also have the
opinion that if you are NOT part of the solution, YOU ARE PART OF THE
PROBLEM, so I tried to help make things right. Thank you Mr. GILMORE and
Mr. BLAIR for pointing this out to us that we're wrong for helping to make
your computer work better and not getting this virus that seems to be
plaguing this list. This particular virus does not immediately affect your
computer and you can do a lot of damage without knowing it and if it wasn't
for us to alert the group, where would we be? THIS MUST BE ADDRESSED NOW!
I received 5 infected emails today from this MV list and caught them through
education of this matter FROM THIS LIST! If your computer isn't part of
your MV day, then toss it out or put it with that unrestored/junk MV in your
garage that you can't seem to get to get to because you are MORE CONCERNED
with what others are doing on this list! It's doing you (and us) just as
much good.

There were quite a few solutions from several members of this list that
I think are effective. These could be a great help to some of us not so
computer fortunate. I gave these web addresses myself:
http://www.symantec.com http://housecall.antivirus.com/ If this
doesn't come up, type in "housecall antivirus" in your search engine. These
are FREE downloads too! One of these will cure your virus problem which
will be useful and the list should function again as normally as it ever
did. I have had more than 20 feedbacks that they did in fact appreciate
this email in the list. If you're too ignorant to understand what I am
saying here, DON'T EMAIL ME saying I am wrong. This is MY opinion, it is a
link in this chain of the MV interest and this event will make us more aware
and stronger to understand and fight this MINOR SETBACK so we can get back
to our MV's WHICH ARE IMPORTANT TOO!

Gilmore and Blair, save your flames for the ones quoting politics and
other REAL off topics AND BE A SOLUTION for the problems WE ARE ALL FACING
AND SUFFERING HERE! Instead of just reading the list-CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING
THAT WE WANT TO READ. I'd like to think I contribute to this list in a
positive way and currently I'm on a CUCV kick which I enjoy sharing to the
MV crowd. When I'm on a quest, I spend 100's of hours sourcing parts for
current MV's and do the footwork so you won't have to. My thought for the
day and I am a dyed in the wool MV enthusiast, Julian Burke
