I have received 7 viruses from this list in the past 36 hours. If this is
not worthy of discussion, and is not of sufficient importance to be
mentioned on the list, then I need to find a new forum for my interest in
military vehicles.
I will NOT be bombarded with viruses and then told to keep quiet about it.
There is another list on yahoogroups that has not propagated one single
virus in the time I have been a member. The reason is that yahoo filters
the mail. If anyone else feels the same way I do about this, the address is
mvlist-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
I'm sorry to get so grumpy, but viruses are a serious threat to this
community and I will not be told to shut up about them.

I would just like to remind some that this list does have some rules
for it's use. It is a list for subjects and discussions dealing with
military vehicles. If there is no military vehicle content then it does not
belong on the list.
Let me quote some of the rules for the use of this list from the owner of
this list, Arthur Kyle, mil-veh list admin ........

too many newsgroups and mailing lists completely ruined by bickering,
off-topic posts, pure spam, flame wars, "religious" bigotry, and
more. It starts with the thin edge of the wedge, with one person
zapping another with a little snide comment or simply going off-topic,
and then it builds and builds. I won't have it happen here.
The simple question you need to ask yourself is this: "What has
this got to do with privately owned military vehicles?"
If you want to talk about politics, make sure it relates to zoning
ordinances,
or safety laws, or something else related to privately-owned military
vehicles. If you want to give medical information (a potentially
dangerous thing at any time), only do so if it relates to repairing
or restoring or using private military vehicles. But if it has
nothing to do with private ownership of military vehicles, don't
post it.
Please do not forward error messages (user unknown, host unknown,
connection timed out, etc.) to the list..."
