I use 3/4 inch gravel, (yes rocks) and shake well until all loose rust is
removed then flush with kerosene.

Subject: [MV] Gas Tank

Hey;
       I'm trying to fix my Mutt gas tank. Just need to know if any one has
used the gas tank sealer from JC Whitney and is it worth it. ($30.00) Any
ideas on the easiest way to get the rust out? Am I supposed to use a rust
inhibitor before the gas tank sealer?
