That's interesting. The TM9-2320-289-20P parts book lists the starter
mounting bolts as being the same. Part number 15544950. They also show a flat
washer #22521054 under each bolt and they do list 1mm shims with part number
..... to be used as required.
I'll check with my local dealer tonight after work to find out which numbers
are old and what is current. When I bought the new bolts at the starter shop,
he looked it up and his book showed both bolts as being the same. He stocked
GM brand bolts. I saw the box myself. They were metric and also had the
knurling on them.
Does your parts book list the washers?
