The tire sidewall and bead must be moved away before the
ring can be removed. There are various means, methosds and
tools to do thjis and I have seen and tried alot of them.
the first time I tried it, I thought it was just about
impossible, but after experimenting, and a little advice
from a friend of mine who was in the military during the
Vietnam war, it is not bad at all. I ended up using a tool
like a big slide hammer for breaking the bead, and just
remember to lube the bead to help it move easily.
