I assume you are referring to the 106mm Recoilless Rifle.........

The 106mm rifles used on these vehicles would be the M-40A1. When used
on the M-38C, M-38A1C or M-151 series 1/4 ton trucks the mount would be a
M-79.

When used on the M-274 series the mount would be a M-92.

When used on the ground a M-27 tripod would be attached.

The M-40A1C rifle is used on the M-50 "Ontos" mounted on a M-159E5 mount.

Primary difference in these rifles is that the M-40A1 uses a percussion
firing mechanism and the M-40A1C uses both the percussion and electrical
firing mechanism. The M-40A1C also has a projectile indicator.

There are later models of these rifles but they are basically the same
units.
