My axle is all apart..one problem..I cant get one of the seals.
It is a large one on the axle housing outer end, and runs agaist the inner
edge of the knuckle housing. It is the last line of defence to stop oil
leaking out...i think it is part 31A in the manual..it is a 6" app
rubber seal, with a wound wire spring section, it fits into a recess in
a 2 piece support plate. If anyone can supply 2 or more, that would be
great.
I have the other 3 seals involved..ie 1 big felt one, 1 smaller metal and
leather and a small metal and leather.
