Not sure where your guy is trying to buy tags in Alabama. Sometimes the
communities "don't get the word". We may have a grey area here with a larger
truck, but in general the Antique Tag (known as Vintage Vehicle Tags) are
available for any, repeat ANY, vehicle which is at least 30 years old, and is
still in basically the original factory condition. I have bought Vintage
Tags for CCKW's and my M3A1 Scout Car. Even got a few tags for fellow list
members who "sold" me their vehicle and when they "bought" it back from me,
it came with a new shinny Vintage Vehicle tag. Have your customer get in
touch with me; sometimes a good attitude and a smile will work wonders around
here.
