I would like to point out the approval of the End Use Cert is probably
still up to the same government people that used to do it. So you can't
blame GL for this problem. I have bought two things that needed one in
the past. The first one was a M35A2 at Fort Campbell. It went through
in reasonable amount of time. The second time was for a motor for a M35
at Camp Shelby. After the second extension of the sale deadline I
canceled the bid. Just goes to show you that the second time is not
always faster.

I am in the middle of participating in my first GL auction. I went to
Huntsville to look last Thur. It took 20 min to be searched and another
60 min plus for someone to get through to GL office to tell them to send
someone to escort us in. If the guy in front of me didn't have a cell
phone number for someone working the sale we might have been there the
rest of the day. Seemed like someone took the phone off the hook.

I plan to go tomorrow to pick up what I bought. The internet auction
was defiantly different than a sealed bid sale. Of the 6 things I
really wanted, I got one for a lot less than I would have given, 2 for
close to the most I would have given and someone else just wanted the
other 3 more than I did.

When I get everything home I will update everyone.
