M35A2 starting problem

List,
I have had an intermittent and curious problem with my M35A2. Every so
often, when I go to start it, the starter (or relay) clicks one time. It
almost sounds like a solenoid that doesn't have enough juice to open. I
actually thought I hadn't pushed the button hard enough the first time it
happened. It doesn't crank at all, but there is full power to gauges, low
air buzzer, etc....
If I release the button and immediately hit it again, it starts right
up. Has anyone ever experienced this? Any ideas of what it could be? Dead
spot on the starter? Bad solenoid?

    Thanks,
        Neil
