Chris,

The closest that I can come to your flat black Humvee is the three gloss
black ones that sit in the motor pool at Fort Snelling, in Minnesota. The
local Army Reserve recruiters had them custom painted, with gold lettering.
They are sharp looking vehicles, but definitely not "combat ready".

Chris,
I do not know about the police, but the Army special forces never used black
humvee's. The Naval Special Warfare community also does not use black
humvee's. Never seen a Marine black humvee either. Do not know about the Air
Force. I do know that some of the Army Rangers use black Range Rovers, but
that is about it. Hope this helps!
