Well, I was kinda stopped in the M38, officer Harris wanted to know what
year it was (the Jeep not the date).

I have the same problem with the tach.
I'm thinking if yours is like mine, your not likely to get caught speeding
anyway.
I haven't been stopped yet, but when I am, (in either the M38 or the M35) my
first statement will be "I know your not stopping me for speeding, so what's
up?"

Has anybody ever had a problem with the speedo cable slipping
where it goes into the speedometer??? My speedo needle moves
up and down and doesn' t read as fast as I know I am going. Is
this a common occurance? What do I have to replace? Can I just
get the little part that goes into the speedo where the cable fits? It
looks worn. They could have had a much better design.
