TVS 3 searchlight

I have just acquired an ex US Army TVS 3 trailer mounted searchlight (Data
plate reads Trailer, Searchligh, V-416/TVS 3) over here in England, doe
anyone know any history of them. I would also be interested in the manuals
for it. I am planning to restore it as the reflector & lamp are missing.
