I agree once switch is grounded you must run a ground strap from the column
to the floor pan or chassis. This to must be followed when rreistalling an
Engine and trans., otherwise you have some funky E-problems.

Make sure that you have an excellant ground between the turn
signal switch and the steering column that it is clamped to.
Otherwise you will have problems. Clean the paint, run a ground
wire, etc.
