Be careful of numbers marked on jets. On GM Q-jets the
number was supostly the opening dia in inches, but all
carbs installed on the same type car (IE Chevy Chevelle
350) had the same jets installed. BUT when the carb was
flowed at the factory if it didn't flow right the jet
was drilled to a larger size. This is known to be a
standard process for carb Manufactures.

I would inspect the jet very closely to see if its a straight
thru design or has a taper on either the top or bottom.

I would then very carefully check the opening dia with drill
blanks to verify what size it actually is. That way you
can get an accurate sizing of the diameter vs playing
the stamped numbers game.. This way you know where your at
and where your going.
