Paul...

If your truck is safe to drive drive it there are many vehicles that are
rolling restorations.
Besides what better way to get to know those with extra parts than to drive
an advertisement that says wanted.
Years ago my brother in-law Kim Sievert drove a WC 56 command car with
galvanized roofing metal for rear fenders and army blanket seat covers He
had lots of fun and met lots of folks with similar stories.
I myself have driven my Dodge WC52 weapons Carrier to meets with a gas tank
so bad it would not idle due to all the metal in its diet and once lost all
my canvas in the Altamont pass because it was so rotten we all have these
stories it is all good fun just be safe big trucks need brakes and wheel
bearings checked and I would look at the body mounts
remember in American graffiti what happened when Dryfus wrapped the chain
around the cops rear axle you would not want to slam the brakes just have
your cab do a flip and land out in winch country.
(Sorry Kim you are an easy Target).
Bring the Trucks guys a true military truck collector loves even the ugliest
that's why we take them all home.
