Joe Young had a great idea......

tap into the Master brake lite switch.....over to a 24 volt relay, then tap
12 volts from the first battery in your truck and run through the relay to
the brake controller,,,then run your brake line back to the
trailer......instant brakes when ever you step on them.....adjust
accordingly at the controller. Max load 12vdc.....12 amps...........

You might also consider converting your trailer to LED tail and marker
lights....9 to 28 volt operating range.....so you can run with your 12 or 24
volt tow vehicle....

Made an adaper box with a M105 harness to a terminal box with my TrailKing
female trailer plug.....just plug trailer plug into box and box pigtail
into the duce...instant lights.....

Cost to convert trailer to LEDs...less than $125, pigtail for M105 $15 ,
misc box and female trailer receptical less than $20.

Very nice and it works....
