Same here - I'm in South Carolina. My pastures could support another couple
of horses. I alerted the Lone Star Equine Rescue in Texas, they looked into
it and were too late - bidding closed yesterday.
I hope they were bought by decent people and not by slaughterers.

This is a sad situation. Hopefully they won't head for the soap factory!

If they weren't so far away I'd consider taking one or both. But there
should be someone willing to put these animals out to pasture with dignity.
