as a result of my m-35 conversion process i have available a spicer five
speed model 6853. this is a newer kin to the trans in the old five ton
trucks and would be an easy swap. the advantage is it has a .69
overdrive. this is very high even compared to the stock mulitfuel unit.
if you do much highway driving this will lower the rpms substantially.
