There are two engines in M37s. The US truck has a 230, the Canadian a 251.
However, I think the manual you have has nothing to do with the M37.
The correct engine manual for the US M37 is TM 9-1840A.
They have external oil pumps, on the passengers side of the engine, while the sealed, waterproof distributor is on the driver's side.
