Well you are definitley doing something wrong somehwere along the battery
trail. :)

There are not a lot of battery manufacturers, so most are made for somebody
by someone else. IMO, Delcos are the best by a wide margin.

I also don't believe there is any difference between a 3 year and a 5 year
battery. I think they just take more of your money up front so that they
are willing to warranty the same 3 year technology for 5 years with your
upfornt money. They know count on the fact that you'll probably sell the
car or lose the paperwork before they ever have to give you a nickel back.

I always buy the biggest (physical size) battery that will fit in the
battery box/tray but the cheapest model, meaning 3 yr. vs 5 or 6 and can
always get 5 years from those even abusing them.
