Our solution for the M37/comvan that we have was
to use an electric fuel-pump, mounted on the frame
of the vehicle ..

To all who offered suggestions:

Thanks for your help, I have collated the replies and forwarded them to Poland.

In summary, they ranged from

- installing an electric fuel pump, - wrapping and rerouting the fuel lines, - installing a heat shield both between the manifolds and under the carby, - using wooden clothes pegs on the fuel line to disipate heat - heat shield around the fuel pump.

Hopefully one or all of those remedies will work.

Regards Doug
