speaking of loose CUCV side mirrors, here's a fix

Hey All,
I got sick of my side mirrors shaking so bad that I couldn't see out of
them. So, I went to Lowe's and picked up some thin wall sleeve pipe and two
longer bolts with nuts. Then, on each door, I popped off the door panel,
removed the mirror base cover, drilled a hole just opposite the top mirror
bolt on the inside metal frame, put the sleeve in between the door skin and
frame, ran the longer bolt through, and tightened it down until the sleeve
contacted either half. Now, the mirrors are rock solid and never jiggle.
Plus, you'll never see the mod since it's under the door panel. Hope this
helps you CUCV owners.
Sincerely,
Chris Stansbury
