Re: [MV] FYI...Dogs not allowed at Hallsville Ohio MVSHOW!

Greetings:

I was at the show last year and I do not recall seeing
any canines around.

I can understand Geof's points but I can also agree
with Steve's. The last thing I want to do is lay down
a few grand worth of German militaria ( I reenact )
into a poop pile or have a dog whizz on the corner of
my zeltbahn tent.

It may very well be a liability issue. The event hosts
may have had a problem in the past or simply do not
want to become part of any lawsuit if a dog bites and
injures someone. This is a sue happy country.

The show is also next to a State Route road and also
surrounded by occupied cow pastures ( well, at least
last year, one was used by a handful of cows for a few
hours ) and keeping canines out keeps them from
getting loose, hit by a car or tangling it up with the
cows.

I'm sure the show has a reason or three for why they
elected to not have dogs at the show. But, they set
the rules.

Cheers,

Ed
