The site you linked to was GOOD.

Some points. There is a bevel required on the Double Flared tube BEFORE
starting to make the first crush. It's "best" made with the tubing still
straight, and fingering it against the side of a grinder, but can be shaped
with a file or hand grinder if needed.

He's using the "Cheapest" tools you can buy... Although these work for an
occasional flare, a "slightly" higher dollar set (I'm only talking a total
of $20-30 MORE!) would yield easier work, and better bends, etc. There's a
clamp style bender that you can insert the tubing into and rotate the upper
handle for example, and a automatic flare tube clamp system which I picked
up surplus for $5.00 at a Govt. sale one day (really an expensive tool I'd
think)

Practice on some tubing (old line if clean will work fine, but if it's rusty
it's not the same,( weaker metal)

Deuce lines are NO different than any other vehicle, just buy line to match
(hence the need for the better bender, as the little one doesn't work as
well with heavier stuff.)

I broke one of the tiny tips off my Sears kit (like the one shown on his
site) and don't know if Sears will replace it, but I had other tools anyway
which appear to work much better.

Clamp the line REALLY tight in the bottom brace, as the pressure to form the
flare may cause it to slip (I augment the clamp in a Vise for stability)

Armored line is available at NAPA someone said, I know my local shop sells
it by the roll (might be cheaper if your doing every line in a Deuce......)

JC Whitney sells it by the roll as well if you want to shop there. (also the
tools, but again, buy the next level up and save yourself some pain.

Above all, DON'T forget to put the fitting ON before making the flare
Doh!!!!
