I believe that the outlet is a standard (US) garden hose thread. If so,
just go to your local Wal Mart/ Hardware/ Sears store and buy one of those
lever operated, end of hose shutoffs (Melnor comes to mind) that allow you
to shut off water flow at the end of the hose to add or remove an
attachment.
