Yes but he has nothing to do with the latest merging of Intelligence
and Law Enforcement. Freeah had quite a bit of Big Brother desires as

list of things that they wanted. When 9/11 happened. Congress and the
(republican) president rubbers stamped about every single thing they
asked for. Only one congressman really had any objection to the
entire crappy set of legislation. That was Wisconsin was Feingold. He
was the only one I saw raising any issue at all to the entire act or
its basic parts.
Lets not forget that the AWB and freezing of the NFA registry was
accomplished with the consent of another republican president.
Read the Patriot Act. It's anything but.
